Peer Review Process

The journal will maintain a peer-review database. All papers considered for publication will be forwarded to a peer reviewer recommended by the Editorial Committee. The purpose of the peer review process and refereeing is to improve and advance research and facilitate the observance of good research and publication ethics.

The Editorial Committee must only approach peer reviewers who have adequate knowledge and expertise in the subject area the paper of the submitted paper. Such reviewers must also be fully aware of the ethical aspects of research and publication.

When called upon to act as a peer reviewer and/or referee all such individuals are expected and must remember and consider their ethical and scholarly duty to undertake a review objectively, impartially and constructively.

Whenever a peer reviewer/referee has any actual or potential conflicts arising from either personal or professional interests concerning the work under review, they must either disclose the same or decline to review the work concerned. In such situations, their role should be decided based on the type and severity of the conflict of interest.

When malpractice in research or violation of ethics is discovered, the reviewer has an ethical responsibility to report this to the Editorial Committee. The Editorial Committee must take appropriate steps to report such malpractices to the institution under whose auspices the research is being conducted.
